Out of Hours Service
NHS 111 is designed to make it easier for you to access local NHS Healthcare Services. You can call 111 when you need medical help fast, but it is not a 999 emergency. NHS 111 is free to call.
You should use the NHS 111 service if you urgently need medical help or advice but it is not a life-threatening situation. You should call 111 if:
• It is not a 999 emergency
• You think you need to go to A&E or another NHS urgent care service
For less urgent health needs, you should still contact your GP in the usual way during opening hours.
If you need Emergency Dental Care, you should contact the Dental Help Line on 0845 050 8345.
For immediate, life-threatening emergencies, such as loss of consciousness, severe chest pain, serious accidents or serious loss of blood, call 999 or visit A&E.
Disabled Access
At Freshwater, our Queens Road entrance is suitable for disabled access and has two disabled
parking bays. For other parking, please use the public pay and display car park in Moa Place,
as the rear car park is for doctors, staff parking and ambulance access only. Staff
can assist patients if a wheelchair is required.
Both the Freshwater and
Yarmouth premises comply fully with requirements for the disabled and provide
disabled toilets and T-Loop hearing system at Freshwater.
