West Wight Practice Statement
The Primary Health Care Team at West Wight Practice would like to welcome you to our Health Centre. Our aim is to provide the highest quality medical care and treatment in a friendly and comfortable environment.
We provide general medical services to patients registered with our Practice and temporary residents within our practice boundary. We can also provide immediately necessary treatment for any person not registered with us who have a medical emergency within our practice area. Evening and Saturday morning appointments, booked in advance, are available for those who are unable to attend during normal surgery hours.
Operating from the Health Centre, based on site are a number of Health Care Professionals, Health Visitors, District Nurses, Community Matron and Care Managers. Together with the Practice Health Care Team they provide a range of services for our Patients suffering from long term conditions.

Monday to Friday 8.30am - 6.00pm for routine services
8.00 - 8.30am and 6.00 - 6.30pm for emergencies
Outside these hours your call will be diverted via NHS 111 to the Island Health Line,
run by local GPs and Ambulance Staff at St Mary’s Hospital.

Disabled Access
At Freshwater, our Queens Road entrance is suitable for disabled access and has two disabled parking bays. For other parking, please use the public pay and display car park in Moa Place, as the rear car park is for doctors, staff parking and ambulance access only. Staff can assist patients if a wheelchair is required.
Both the Freshwater and Yarmouth premises comply fully with requirements for the disabled and provide disabled toilets and T-Loop hearing system at Freshwater.
